The Loop That Doesn’t Break
Life is a monotony.
Wake up.
Put on the act.
Work.
Go home.
Eat.
Sleep.
Repeat.
Over and over.
Like I’m stuck in this world with no exit.
Nothing changes.
Not for the worse.
Not for the better.
Just a constant cycle.
I tried to break free once.
More than once.
But somewhere along the way,
without noticing,
I stopped trying.
Once you’re stuck,
it’s hard to break free.
You get used to it.
You start calling it normal.
There were moments I thought I was close, almost free.
But I fell short.
Disappointment followed.
Not just mine,
but the disappointment of others.
Or maybe just the weight of their silence.
Why keep trying so hard
if life hasn’t tried for me?
I reached out.
But nothing came back.
So I stay like this.
Here.
In the infinite loop.
At least I know what’s coming.
At least I won’t be disappointed by others.
Just disappointed by me.
